About Chiropractic Treatment

Chiropractors are neuro-musculo-skeletal physical therapy specialists and primary contact physicians. We are trained to diagnose and conservatively manage patients or provide referral to appropriate health care providers.

Chiropractic treatment is considered to be extremely safe and recognised as such by healthcare risk assessment insurers.

Chiropractors complete a six year Master’s degree with a strong emphasis on the core and advanced clinical sciences in order to ensure the best quality of care for patients.

At your new patient assessment a thorough case history will be taken and a physical examination conducted. You may be recommended to undergo x-ray (or other imaging) evaluation and/or additional diagnostic tests. Your complaint will then be explained and discussed with you so that a treatment plan can be agreed. Treatment will include various physical therapy and chiropractic interventions or you may be referred to a different health care specialist for further evaluation if treatment is not considered appropriate.
